Job Title:  Sr. Product Manager, Content Engagement

Summary of Position:

We are seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented product manager to content engagement efforts across platforms from web through to mobile and TV.

 

 

This critical role will own the automation and optimization of subscriber content engagement through merchandising, recommendation engines, and personalization tools.

 

 

Your focus will be shaping the STARZ app to continuously demonstrate value to our subscribers by surfacing content they want and appreciate. You’ll ship experiments and solutions that make the product stickier, maximize engagement, and drive subscriber retention.

 

 


Responsibilities

  • Oversee content engagement automation efforts based on deep analytics, member needs, and strategic objectives
  • Refine, sequence, prioritize, and execute on content engagement enhancements in the product roadmap
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors as needed; work with internal engineering team to integrate and/or enhance existing capabilities
  • Articulate and validate key product assumptions through research, user testing, and live testing
  • Set and track key performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvements through rigorous analysis and optimization
  • Champion subscriber personalization across the organization beyond the app experience and into marketing communications and efforts as well
Experience & Skills:
  • 6-9 years of experience in a product role working with decision engines/recommendation tools/personalization/machine learning, preferably in a digital, mobile, or subscription business
  • Deep understanding of data science methods and machine learning models
  • Product management experience within ecommerce, high tech, software and/or wireless/telecom/OTT industry highly desired
  • Excel at juggling multiple projects, staying organized and prioritizing deadlines
  • Seasoned in managing timelines, delivery, dependencies, communication across teams
  • Comfortable in a data-driven business environment and able to pivot readily based on real-time data
  • Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
