Job Title:  Manager, International Content Planning & Analysis

Summary of Position

Starz is seeking a Manager of Content Planning & Analysis to support the International Programming team. The Manager will provide financial analysis to inform content decision making as well as work closely with the Content Analytics team to conduct data analysis and present findings to the International STARZPLAY team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial model and analysis for the Programming team
  • Provide consistent budget updates to internal stakeholders and run scenarios to inform buying decisions
  • Build internal content performance dashboards in Tableau, supported by SQL
  • Present internal content analysis performance to internal groups
  • Capture consumption trends and communicate those trends with suggestions and recommendations to the Programming team
  • Inform content licensing (and re-licensing) decisions through the analysis of large internal and third-party datasets
  • Create presentations for senior management
  • Work with platform distribution partners to ensure smooth ingestions of data to internal system
  • Liaise with other internal teams for ad hoc projects and presentations
  • Collaborate with Marketing data analytics team on all promotional campaigns, providing necessary consumption data

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum two years working in an operations finance or data role or similar environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficiency and the ability to handle a high volume of tasks while maintaining an exacting attention to detail 
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint), as well as Google Sheets and Slides
  • Competency in SQL and Tableau

  • Experience with S3, Snowflake and Matillion
