Summary of Position:

Key Responsibilities:
•    Work with the International Marketing team to establish an overall marketing strategy for STARZ originals and STARZPLAY acquisition shows for all international markets
•    Manage media budgets, including territory allocations and media mix recommendations on a
•    quarterly basis
•    Consult on show briefs and go-to-market decks outlining international content strategies
•    Identify and execute unique marketing opportunities that drive word of mouth, awareness and acquisition
•    Work collaboratively across US, creative, social, media and publicity teams to champion
•    international ideas and execute global integrated activations and strategies
•    Work with international analytics lead to establish KPIs and develop a reporting format/cadence to ensure optimization across wholesale and retail partners
•    Lead paid media campaign strategy with our wholesale partners (Amazon, Apple, Bell Media, etc…). This includes consulting on budgets, creative and title allocations
•    Vet and onboard international media buying agencies
•    Ensure that all worldwide digital campaign assets are built for international needs that allow for scale and localization for each market
•    Create, review, and provide feedback/direction on creative assets for video, digital and out of home media

Experience & Skills:

•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or relevant qualification and/or experience
•    Minimum of 8-10 years experience in media planning with heavy focus on digital marketing
•    International Marketing experience highly preferred
•    Demonstrate extensive experience of marketing, preferably integrated media and analytics
•    Language proficiency or deep cultural knowledge of countries is preferred
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines
•    Extensive knowledge of digital creative, international campaigns and digital marketing best practices
•    Experience marketing for cable and/or digital networks, OTT work a major plus

STARZPLAY is an SVOD service that has expanded into global markets like the UK, LATAM, and most European countries like Germany, Spain, France, Italy & the Netherlands. This role for the Director, International Media will focus primarily on developing the global media strategy and go-to-market plans for specific STARZPLAY shows in multiple territories.
