Summary of Position

The Director of Connected Devices is responsible for growth, management, and support of all device partner platforms where Starz is currently distributed. Position also involves exploring additional launch partnerships to grow footprint of Starz availability on storefronts to maximize availability of Starz direct to consumer footprint through partner platforms. The Director plays a key role in development and implementation of strategies to grow the business, including partner marketing, offers, and bundling.

Responsibilities

  • Act as key liaison between Starz app retail team and retail partner platforms including Roku, Apple, Amazon FireTV, Google, and SmartTV devices 
  • Negotiate and execute renewals for retail storefront partnerships
  • Work with Starz retail team to explore new storefront launch opportunities and negotiate for Starz inclusion through contract negotiations
  • Manage performance, growth, and tentpole marketing campaigns to maximize subscriber and revenue goals
  • Explore opportunities for growth that align with overall Starz objectives
  • Execute quarterly business reviews to take snapshot of key performance metrics 
  • Meet with key storefront counterparts to build and grow partner relationships
  • Manage Coordinator to assist in execution and delivery of all partner marketing tactics 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree preferred; and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the direct to consumer/OTT field
  • Goal oriented and ability to communicate priorities to key partners
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Strong partner and internal relationship building skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Cross-department functionality to achieve stated goals
  • Prior experience managing a Coordinator level role

Nice to Haves

  • Strong understanding of direct to consumer business and industry relationships a plus

Compensation

$140,000 - $170,000
