Summary of Position

Lionsgate has an immediate need for a System Administrator/Sr. Financial Analyst in the Corporate FP&A department. The position’s primary role is to maintain the company’s SAP-BPC environments that service the company’s global planning, finance and accounting groups. The position will also provide general planning and analytical support to the FP&A group, including extensive involvement with the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Application Administrator for the Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP-BPC 10.1) system which has two environments with multiple models.  
  • Manage and maintain master data, perform routine maintenance, and work with IT to execute processes and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Validate and reconcile financial planning system with the G/L and oversee the actualizing process during the quarterly closes/forecasts
  • Ensure adequate roles/controls are maintained and verify data integrity of systems, processes, and data
  • Communicate status and document system/process changes including BPC functionality, enhancements, and improvement for financial reporting
  • Train and assist users in using BPC and troubleshoot data discrepancies
  • Translate business needs into BPC solutions and communicate BPC technical matter in business terminology
  • Provide quantitative and analytical support for corporate planning during the quarterly forecasts/closes
  • Produce select financial reporting to various groups within organization, including senior management 

Qualifications and Skills

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of systems and/or finance experience; preferably in entertainment
  • Demonstrable experience with Financial Planning and Consolidation tools (BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan, etc.) and SAP R3/BW 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ideally proficient in VBA
  • A solid understanding of accounting principals 
  • Great communication skills which includes the ability to speak and write clearly and concisely with BPC users across the company

Compensation

$75,000 - $90,000
