Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Sales Planning & Analysis in Home Entertainment. This position will support various sales teams with essential developments, data-driven decisions, title strategy, and ad-hoc projects. In addition, the role will work with various business units, including Worldwide Sales, Marketing, Content Analysis, Theatrical Distribution and Corporate Planning.


  • Work with Digital and Packaged Media Partners to develop joint business plans and financial reviews
  • Develop new sales strategies to maximize library value
  • Coordinate with Digital and Packaged Media Executives to develop annual business plan for corporate planning
  • Collaborate with Sales Team to develop go to market strategies for new releases in a rapidly changing home entertainment landscape
  • Lead the quarterly re-forecasts for Digital and Packaged Media businesses
  • Evaluate key Lionsgate titles through scenario analysis, goal setting and performance recaps
  • Analyze industry and economic trends to inform key Lionsgate stakeholders
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for upper management
  • Communicate sales performance in various international territories

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in an analytical or planning role preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics or related field
  • Have excellent Excel skills including creating financial models
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Digital, Physical, and SVOD businesses
  • Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-pasted environment
  • Must have interest in Movies and Television of various genres

Nice to Haves

  • Experience and Knowledge of databases a plus
  • Experience with Tableau, SAP BPC (Outlooksoft) or other analytical data systems a plus
  • Entertainment industry experience
  • Prior experience working with major retailers
  • “Out of the Box” thinking and problem solving
