Summary of Position
Lionsgate is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic Payroll team. In this role, you will work closely with both our accounting and human resources departments to ensure the timely and accurate processing and recording of payroll records.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the process of bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now under guidance from the Payroll Director
- Ensure internal controls are met for multi-state, multi-company code and, bi-weekly computerized payroll system
- Assist with payroll processing reconciliations and audits
- Run the Payroll Interface from SuccessFactors to update ADP Payroll system and research and resolve any issues/errors within the interface
- Administer and maintain employee and manager access in the NOVAtime timekeeping system
- Respond to and assist with requests for recurring and ad hoc reporting from the ADP Reporting module
- Respond to all employment verifications requests (written and verbal) in a timely manner
- Keep up to date on legislation and regulation changes that affect the payroll process
- Maintain knowledge base and resource information for multi-state payroll processing
- Process all garnishments and benefit changes in the payroll system consistent with federal and state laws and regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- 4+ years payroll experience preferred
- Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now and with web-based Timekeeping and/or HRIS systems required
- Working knowledge of wage and hour regulations, tax laws affecting payroll, and regulations on processing withholding and support orders a must
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal supervision and a sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing quality work in a timely manner
- Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
- Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
- CPP and FPC certification a plus

Compensation
$65,000 - $75,000
