Summary of Position

The Senior Coordinator, Interactive Ventures & Games, will report to the Senior Director of Interactive Ventures & Games and play a pivotal role in supporting the development, production, and launch of a diverse portfolio of game projects. This role will oversee multiple phases of the game production lifecycle—from initial concept through live operations—while providing senior-level administrative support, project management, and strategic coordination across cross-functional teams. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the Senior Coordinator will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and timely execution of initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a deep understanding of the gaming industry and the unique needs of interactive experiences. They should be a creative problem-solver, capable of translating internal feedback into actionable tasks, while remaining adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires an individual who is both a collaborative team player and a strong self-starter, with a passion for gaming, emerging technologies, and Lionsgate’s IP.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the progress of assigned game projects, tracking milestones, managing production schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met, while providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide senior-level administrative support, including preparing presentations and decks, coordinating travel schedules, and processing expense reports.
  • Able to serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment on project goals and timely execution of initiatives, while contributing to optimization discussions to streamline workflows and enhance team efficiency.
  • Review narratives, scripts, and other creative development materials, create coverage for games, and take detailed, organized notes during large creative development meetings, translating internal feedback into clear, cohesive, professional, and well-formatted documents for sharing with third parties.
  • Familiarize themselves with Lionsgate library and supporting the creation and refinement of game narratives, scripts, and presentations to ensure alignment with brand objectives and consistency.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in interactive film, video game platforms, and technologies, sharing valuable insights with internal teams and identifying new development opportunities to drive innovation.
  • Oversee video game equipment, logins, build downloads, and code inventory.
  • Handle sensitive, high-level confidential information, ensuring proper organization and secure distribution of files and materials to third parties as needed.
  • Represent Lionsgate at industry networking events, fostering relationships and enhancing the company's presence within the gaming community.
  • Support the Global Products & Experiences team with ad-hoc tasks and remain adaptable to shifting priorities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Box. 
  • Knowledge and passion for video games and interactive experiences, with prior industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in creative development, including reviewing scripts, narratives, and synthesizing feedback into clear documents.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and secure distribution of sensitive assets to third parties.
  • Skilled in preparing presentations, managing travel, and handling administrative tasks.
  • Comfortable representing the company at industry networking events.
  • Bachelor's degree in entertainment, game design, or a related field, with 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
