Summary of Position:

The Developer will provide hands on administration and daily end-user support of Lionsgate’s various standard business and custom applications. He/She should possess a well-rounded set of both business and technical skills and be able to collaborate with a wide range of end-users.  He/She will be a motivated self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.  He/she will be able to communicate effectively with business end users to guide requirements definition and testing efforts as well as to maintain a strong collaborative relationship.  He/she will learn, and where needed document, Lionsgate’s business processes, facilitate the identification of process improvement opportunities, and help determine associated functional requirements.  He/she will excel in a team environment, and will be dedicated to expanding his/her knowledge base as well as to sharing that knowledge with others. The ability to multitask and coordinate work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is imperative, as is the ability to coordinate efforts with others toward achieving departmental and company goals.



The Salesforce Lead Developer is responsible for:

  • Working with business users to gather requirements and understand business processes
  • Setting expectations with business users for project timelines
  • Setting project goals and guides development work
  • System design and code quality
  • Serving as the agent of change and process improvements
  • Working within the IT department to improve technical processes and improve efficiency
  • Working well in an agile development environment and drives continuous improvement
Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years Salesforce Platform development experience.  Platform Developer I Certification required. 
  • 3+ years experience developing with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL Server
  • Experience developing with C#, ASP.NET development (includes older Microsoft development languages)
  • Knowledge of AD, DNS, IIS, Apache and general networking is helpful
  • Expertise in designing efficient and maintainable systems
  • Understanding of different database architectures and schema designs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills



Additional skills preferred:

  • Entertainment industry experience
