Summary of Position

The internship role requires a talented individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, a proactive nature, a ''can do'' attitude, the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic, creative, and challenging environment. This role will handle projects that focus on the core business of FAST with exposure to cross-functional support teams including technology, marketing, finance, sales and analytics. The role will report to the Executive Director, Domestic Channels Strategy and Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Create a “FAST Channels 101” on-boarding publication which will serve as a reference tool for those needing to know the people, processes and product of the Lionsgate FAST Business. 
  • Create an Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) market research analysis capturing companies, products and/or services that improve efficiencies of the business of FAST.
  • Create an internal “newsletter” template which captures monthly successes, challenges and other considerations for internal stakeholders and leadership to remain apprised of the growing business of Lionsgate FAST.
  • Review content utilized in global markets and ensure metadata in use meets local requirements.
  • Responsibilities may vary based off business dynamics and rate of change due to the ‘start-up’ nature of this business line.

The Lionsgate and Starz Internship Program is designed to identify, recruit, and develop a diverse group of students that will gain meaningful educational experiences, professional growth, and career opportunities.

All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.

Details

  • Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
  • Graduate students are eligible to apply
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • All internships are paid
  • Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office

The Lionsgate FAST Channels business segment programs, operates, markets, and distributes next generation streaming television channels. With access to the Company’s 20,000+-title film and television library, one of the largest in the world, we are creating an evolutionary network of live, linear 24/7 network programming channels with global carriage across direct-to-consumer and connected television platform operators.

$18 per hour
