Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Coordinator, Domestic Sales Strategy & Planning to report to the Director, Sales Strategy & Planning, in the Worldwide TV Sales department. This position focuses on overseeing the sales initiative process, tracking FY film/series budgetary goals, identifying strategic opportunities within the Lionsgate catalog & communicating business requirements to the IT department.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with IT on system development projects to provide feedback, communicate needs for new reporting requirements and actively participate in UAT.
  • System/report training lead for new hires.
  • Collaborate with the research and sales teams to identify platform-specific opportunitites, as well as creating pitch strategies to drive market activity.
  • Track both in FY and long-term budgetary targets by incorporating the latest licensing and rev share data into financial files.
  • Oversee sales initiatives which includes the overall timeline, coordinating rights-specific availability reports/edits and tracking the back-and-forth negotiations in sales systems.
  • Pull ad-hoc film and/or series availability reports based on platform/theme.
  • Establish series and film ultimates for multi-platform & limited release acquisitions/productions as part of the greenlight process.
  • Update graphical sales tools for strategic windowing projects.
  • Build decks to showcase inventory/deal analysis with the broader team including executives.
  • Support the domestic sales team on key ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 year of related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Excellent organization, note-taking, and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess the ability to effectively multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced/dynamic environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of advanced formulas a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and understand large sets of data.
  • Highly motivated with an aptitude to learn quickly, take accountability for tasks, and proactively anticipate needs.
  • An understanding of the ever-evolving TV distribution landscape and a strong interest in the business side of entertainment.
