Summary of Position

Lionsgate is seeking a Coordinator for its Strategy & Intelligence team, located inside the Motion Picture Group. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a systems thinker, a problem solver and someone who feels comfortable communicating with all kinds of people via a variety of methods. The Strategy & Intelligence team is a growing department of critical thinkers, strategists, researchers, analysts, innovators and engineers who are solving some of the studio’s biggest challenges during a time of rapid industry transformation. We like to geek out on data, technology and tools while maintaining focus on the priorities of the business. Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day administrative support to two executives in the Strategy & Intelligence group, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing requests and reserving time for solo work.
  • Supports Strategy & Intelligence team by scheduling group meetings, submitting invoices for payment, identifying improvements to team processes and assisting with creation of department presentations and other communications.
  • Tracks department deadlines, deliverables and budgets, following up on elements as needed.
  • Builds and maintains database of vendors, serving as initial point of contact to receive pitch materials and as the first stage gate to evaluating potential vendors for onboarding.
  • Assists with light intelligence duties, including trends monitoring, title research and competitive intelligence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of either entertainment industry experience or similar responsibilities
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organization skills, including ability to prioritize and find solutions proactively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to concisely and confidently interact with different levels of executives and a diverse range of communication and thinking styles
  • Track record of making an impact and improving how things get done, whether at work, school or volunteering
  • High level of integrity and discretion with the ability to work with sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (like Monday.com or Asana), chat/IM and video conferencing
  • Passion for the business of entertainment and desire to drive change and innovation within the industry
  • Interest in a career in strategy/analytics preferred
