Summary of Position

The Coordinator, Consumer Products is responsible for providing overall support to the Consumer Products team, including coordinating the review and approval of film, television, live, interactive and location based entertainment merchandise globally. The coordinator assembles and provides creative assets, style and brand guides, and team feedback to our global licensing agent, various partners and licensees. In addition, the coordinator assists in executing the strategy, operations and marketing across various Consumer Products initiatives.


  • Coordinates the day-to-day approvals process for all product submissions
  • Assists in the development of sales materials to provide ongoing support of our agent(s) and partners
  • Works closely with the department’s marketing team and other teams across the Studio to support initiatives for products and partners
  • Maintains invoicing and tracking systems and data sheets for all projects, products and initiatives 
  • Provides support to our partners with creative assets, style guides and reference materials
  • Identifies market trends and undertakes global research of consumers, competitors, and market environment to assist with development of new product offerings
  • Manages calendar and project milestones
  • Contributes to improvements to the internal process to streamline efforts and ensure all timelines and deadlines are met
  • Takes on additional related projects as requested

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 1-year experience in consumer products or related fields applicable to responsibilities, preferably entertainment based
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and resourceful in finding solutions to problems
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team setting, with exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task several projects against deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of digital and social programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Acrobat, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Discord; Adobe Creative Suite, MyMediabox or similar and
  • Eager to learn and has a flexible mindset 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Interest in Consumer Products and fan of Lionsgate properties is a plus
