Summary of Position
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will play a key role in collaborating between Finance, accounting, controlling and IT teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across key Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger. Experience with Rights Management Systems and S/4HANA implementations will be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions working with developers.
- Design, test and implement SAP FICO solutions to support business processes and objectives.
- Lead and support configuration activities in GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger modules.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance & Accounting, Rights Management and sales Operations, to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Work on enhancements, issue resolution, and process improvements within the SAP FICO landscape.
- Provide support for finance and accounting related projects and SAP system upgrades
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and work with developers on enhancements and reports.
- Provide expertise in integrating SAP FICO with other downstream systems, such as Rights Management System (SAP IPM), BW and BPC.
- Train end-users and create documentation for processes and procedures.
- Support Quarter-end, year-end financial close activities and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy in financial and controlling systems.
- Develop detailed documentation, test cases, and training materials for end users.
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, with strong functional knowledge across GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger.
- Proven experience supporting or implementing SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Familiarity or experience with Rights Management Systems.
- Knowledge of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Fiori apps related to FICO processes.
- Experience in Media and Entertainment industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Practical in approach to problem solving and decision making.
- A conceptual thinker with the professional skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives as well as appropriate regulatory and technical requirements.

Compensation
$140,000 - $150,000
