Summary of Position

Lionsgate is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Learning and Engagement to join the HR team in the Denver office. This position will report to the Executive Director, Learning and Development (L&D) located in the Santa Monica office. The Learning and Engagement (L&E) Sr. Coordinator will organize L&E programs and events for the broader organization, as well as manage onsite programming for Denver employees. 


  • Schedule and facilitate training webinars, virtual/in-person workshops, and events (from monthly required events to ad-hoc workshops), including set-up/clean-up for onsite events
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding (including but not limited to New Hire paperwork processing, New Hire Orientation, New Hire trainings)
  • Create how-to-guides and other materials to support employees with learning Lionsgate’s systems, processes, and programs
  • Manage the company-wide Mentoring Program by coordinating the application process, facilitating discussion sessions, and ensuring all milestones are met
  • Serve as point person on managing content within our LMS (Bridge) and other online learning platforms (as well as creating and adding content and guiding additional stakeholders on adding content to Bridge)
  • Manage the annual company-wide compliance training needs 
  • Maintain records of L&D workshops, attendance, results of quizzes, and assessments, and retraining requirements
  • Support L&D Exec. Director with designing content for team development workshops, e-learning content, and other trainings 
  • Plan and manage engagement programing and events (including being a point person for onsite Denver events). This includes scheduling, communicating, set-up/clean-up, and running programs and events
  • Assist in administration of the company’s Employee Recognition & Rewards Program 
  • Partner with larger Lionsgate Life (LG Life) team on all staff communications and programming 
  • Partner and work closely with various members of our HR team (LG Life, HR Business Partners, HRIS, DEI) as well as IT and other departments to ensure the L&E programs are being utilized, optimized, and business needs are being met
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for local Diversity & Inclusion initiatives 
  • Support with employee questions
  • Support all offices with additional company-wide L&E projects, as needed
  • Assist with additional projects and research, as requested

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience (Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, HR, or related areas)
  • Ability to keep multiple projects on track with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with all levels of employees
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation/public speaking skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and willing to go the extra mile to deliver effective results
  • Excellent time management skills and problem-solving skills 
  • Can adapt to changing team and business needs
  • Highly skilled in MS PowerPoint and skilled in Excel
  • Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design, and e-learning platforms
  • College degree preferred (Psychology, HR, or similar field)
