Interns are immersed in a vibrant environment, collaborating with passionate professionals dedicated to creating compelling stories that resonate with and entertain a global audience. Expect to contribute to daily responsibilities while receiving guidance from your supervisor and support from your team. We provide a structured roadmap for your development, ensuring a valuable learning experience throughout your internship.

Program Guidelines

  • Our internship program takes place exclusively during the summer months, running from June to August.
  • Internships are structured to last for a duration of 10 weeks.
  • Interns are expected to be onsite Monday through Thursday, and work from home on Fridays.
  • All internships are paid.

Eligibility

  • Open to rising juniors through recent graduates (within 6 months of graduation) pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited College/University
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program

Mentorship Opportunity

As part of our commitment to your growth, you'll be paired with a seasoned leader who will serve as your mentor throughout and beyond the internship program. They'll guide you through navigating the workplace and offer invaluable career insights to help you thrive in your professional journey.

FAQs

When Should I Apply?
Check out our summer internship postings on our careers site, usually posted during the winter season (December-February). Positions are filled on a rolling basis so we recommend submitting your application as early as possible.

What Do I Need To Apply?
Update your resume with your most recent experience. Cover Letters are optional. You may apply to multiple internship opportunities, but be selective with the ones that best align with your interests and skills.

What Is The Recruitment And Interview Process Like?
The recruitment process involves our recruiters reviewing applications and conducting pre-recorded video interviews with qualified candidates. Once selected, candidates will participate in live video interviews with team members they will collaborate with during the summer, including their direct supervisor.

Internship Framework: How Is The Internship Program Structured?
Our internships span 10 weeks. You’ll dive into daily responsibilities, while also tackling team-assigned projects throughout. Interns will also engage in a variety of enriching activities, including speaker series, professional development workshops, and networking events.

Are International Students Eligible For U.S.-based Internships?
Yes. International students are eligible to apply as long as you are able to provide documentation to legally work in the United States throughout the duration of your internship.

Our internships are based at our offices in the following locations. Each position description will specify the location for the respective internship:

Santa Monica, California

Toronto, Canada

Does Lionsgate Provide Housing?
No. It is the responsibility of the candidate to secure their own housing.

Do Interns Get Hired After Completing The Program?
We have numerous success stories of interns transitioning into full-time roles post-internship and strongly encourage interns to explore potential full-time opportunities within the company. However, acceptance into such positions is not guaranteed upon completion of the internship. Interns eligible for a full-time position will have the opportunity to meet with a recruiter to discuss their interests and potential openings within the company.
