Summary of Position
Lionsgate Canada is seeking a highly organized and resourceful Coordinator, Library Acquisitions & Partnerships to provide critical support to the library acquisitions team. This role will focus on keeping projects and workflows on track, assisting with reporting and presentations, and supporting data analysis efforts related to Lionsgate’s film and television library. This role will work closely with the EVP, Acquisition Strategy, as well as the Director, Library Acquisitions & Partnerships to provide administrative and organizational support, while also contributing to analysis and preparation of materials that drive decision-making and communication across the business.
Responsibilities
- Track projects, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure the team remains organized and aligned.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination across departments.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Compile and analyze data to support acquisition strategy, sales tracking, and performance reporting.
- Stay attuned to industry trends, competitive activity, and market developments to support team awareness and strategy.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, reports, and team documents.
- Support workflows and tracking of acquired titles, coordinating with internal systems and teams.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects related to Lionsgate’s content library rights and acquisition
opportunities. - Provide general team support, ensuring smooth operations and communication within the department.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Communications, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an analytical, administrative, or project coordination role. Media/entertainment industry experience preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint (or equivalent tools) for data analysis and presentation preparation.
- Comfort working with data sets and producing clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and resourceful team player, eager to learn and support across a wide variety of tasks.
- Curiosity about the media and entertainment industry, with the ability to stay informed on emerging trends and developments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
