Campaign Strategy & Creative Leadership

  • Build persuasive briefs and presentations; move quickly when culture creates an opportunity without losing quality.

Culture, Fandom & Innovation

  • Build with fandoms, understanding how communities theorize, organize, joke and iterate.
  • Bring fluency in TikTok, Reddit, Discord and emerging platforms.
  • Identify new behaviors, technologies, creators and communities early; test small bets.
  • Develop creator strategies beyond familiar influencers, finding unexpected talent.
  • Give organic social channels a distinct, film-specific voice and point of view.
  • Discernment to know when an online conversation doesn’t *not* require a brand’s input.

Filmmaker, Talent & Content

  • Build trust with filmmakers, talent and representatives; persuade them to embrace unconventional ideas through thoughtful, tailored pitches.
  • Lead content capture strategy and execution across sets, junkets, premieres and shoots, creating authentic, film-specific material.

Team & Executive Leadership

  • Identify unconventional talent, nurture original instincts and create an environment where junior voices can take creative risks.
  • Integrate campaigns across multiple departments, including publicity, paid media, partnerships and creative .
  • Present confidently to senior leadership; manage simultaneous releases and share candid learnings.
  • Own budgets, forecasts, agencies and vendors, maximizing impact.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in entertainment marketing, digital/social, advertising or creative strategy, with standout work.
  • Experience leading teams, major campaigns, agencies and budgets, in entertainment or at an agency.
  • A portfolio demonstrating ideas you personally originated, not just oversaw.
  • Deep understanding of fandoms, creators, emerging platforms and internet culture.

  • Exceptional creative judgment, writing, presentation skills; willingness to travel.
