Job Title:  UC Voice Engineer

Summary of Position

The UC voice engineer will be responsible for coordination and operations of our cisco UC manager / call manager and collaboration platforms. The candidate will also be accountable for the design, configuration, testing, deployment and ongoing operational support of telecommunications circuits, as well as supporting end user needs when required. They will assess Lionsgate’s voice communication requirements, network infrastructure, and available resources to develop efficient and scalable VoIP solutions. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, provisioning and configuring corporate issued mobile devices, as well as configuring those devices with our communications platforms such as outlook, ms teams, and webex. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage our cisco voice and video platforms
  • Onboard VoIP phones users
  • Participate in regular operations review meetings, including operational issues, tickets review etc
  • Review, design, plan, implement, and manage all Voice Over IP services
  • Manage traditional telecommunication systems and services, and telephony contact center
  • Manage and support all mobile services which includes provisioning new corporate issued mobile devices with corporate email and collaboration platforms such as MS Teams
  • Providing desk side support for voice related issues

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years experience in Cisco UC Manager / Call Manager (CUCM)
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Voice, Video technologies and H323, SIP, MGCP, Q931 signaling protocols
  • Integration with different Video endpoints with Cisco CMS and Expressway
  • Strong Knowledge of voice recording (NICE/ Verint), Contact Center, network routing &switching technologies ,and protocols
  • Working knowledge of Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) including associated G.711 and G.729 codecs and Digital Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF)
  • Expertise in SIP internetworking
  • Setting up and provisioning mobile services such as IPhones, and Android devices

Compensation

$125,000 - $135,000
