Job Title:  Senior Financial Analyst, Participations and Ultimates

Summary of Position

The primary focus of this position is to prepare participations ultimates, detailed financial analysis, and statements. This candidate will present results of their work to colleagues and management, and collaborate in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This position may also assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis as assigned. Duties may include gathering documentation and reviewing contracts and accounting records. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, exercises sound judgment, and can independently manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

•    Prepare participations ultimates, financial analysis, and statements
•    Test and implement process improvements, efficiency, and standardization
•    Interpret contracts for the purpose of identifying participations-related terms and overall deal structure
•    Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as requested

Qualifications and Skills

•    B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
•    2+ years overall experience
•    Attentive to detail and keen judgement to make sound decisions 
•    Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict contractual deadlines
•    Ability to work proactively and autonomously in the role, but also as a team player 
•    Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, large datasets)
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Haves

•    Experience in finance and/or participations 
•    MBA / JD

Compensation

$70,000 - $80,000
