Summary of Position
The Acquisitions & Co-Productions team is seeking an intern who will help cover scripts and completed films, prepare for film festivals and track submissions. Experience writing script coverage is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute script and screener coverage.
- Enter information about available films into our database.
- Create decks for film festival recaps.
- Assist in tracking incoming submissions.
- Monitor the trades for important film announcements and sales.
Skills
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursing a degree in Film or Communications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience writing script coverage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- A passion for film!

Program Dates: Tuesday, June 10th – Friday, August 15th, 2025 (10 Weeks)

All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025.
Details
- Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
- Graduate students are eligible to apply
- Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
- All internships are paid
- Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office

Business Unit Overview
The Acquisitions & Co-Productions team at Lionsgate identifies available feature films across all stages of production to acquire and distribute. We review scripts and completed films, negotiate deals, shepherd our pre-buys to completion and prepare the team for attendance at major film festivals and markets.
Compensation
$18 per hour
