Summary of Position
The Intern, Human Resources will support a wide range of HR functions and gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for students interested in careers in HR, organizational development, or people operations. The intern will gain meaningful exposure to the broader HR leadership team by:
- Hands-on experience supporting real HR programs and initiatives
- Direct insight into leadership-level HR strategy through engagement with the CHRO
- Professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing an innovative and engaging ongoing HR communication as well as campaigns and materials across multiple channels –including email, intranet, handouts, presentation decks, video, MS Teams, and home mailings
- Assist in managing multiple email inboxes and respond to employee questions
- Assist with planning virtual and onsite corporate events including employee screenings, Executive Fireside Chats, mixers, wellness events, giveaways (swag, food, gift cards), philanthropic efforts, and holiday events including company-wide annual holiday party
- Analyze and compile findings from annual Employee Engagement Surveys, quarterly pulse surveys, and other ongoing and ad hoc surveys to allow for all voices to be heard
- Help create an inclusive and positive culture through management of meaningful programming including employee recognition, performance management, employee perks and offerings, employee groups, etc.
- Assist with planning and executing employee engagement activities and events
- Support the development of internal communications and culture-building initiatives
- Help collect and analyze employee feedback to support continuous improvement
- Provide administrative support for benefits programs and wellness initiatives
- Help maintain documentation and resources related to benefits enrollment and policies
- Support HR team members in preparing employee materials and communication
- Support the creation of training materials, presentations, and resources
- Help maintain learning content in HR systems or shared platforms
- Partner on ad hoc projects as they arise
Skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
- Strong written, verbal and social communications skills
- Multitasker who enjoys a fast-paced environment and able to be resourceful
- Effective public speaking skills with demonstrated ability to present ideas and information in an impactful and understandable way
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team as well as independently, manage time, organize and accurately prioritize work across multiple projects, be detail-oriented, work within deadlines and understand when urgency is required
- Experience using data to address business challenges and develop/adapt program/communications strategies
- Holds a passion for employee engagement
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Preferred experience with design applications/platforms (e.g., Canva)

Details
- Interns must not work more than 40 hours per week
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
- Graduate students are eligible to apply
- Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
- All internships are paid
- Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office
