Summary of Position

The Executive Assistant, Corporate Communications is responsible for supporting the department across its various areas of oversight – corporate, executive, internal and financial communications. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for aligning with the department’s Senior Vice President on the prioritization of their work to support the overall business objectives of the department. This candidate would ideally have corporate communications experience and a strong grasp of the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support Chief Communications Officer and department's Senior Vice President with scheduling meetings and handle other departmental administrative tasks, including processing invoices for payment and corresponding with vendors 
  • Interact with the Company’s leadership team on behalf of the department
  • Support department with preparation for Board presentations and earnings calls
  • Manage real-time press coverage tracking for the department
  • Put together weekly press coverage recaps for the Board of Directors
  • Update executive bios and organize headshot shoots as needed
  • Put together quarterly fact sheet
  • Other job duties as assigned to contribute to achieving the department's business objectives

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a business-oriented communications environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong writing skills 
  • Excellent computer skills including Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Able to apply AI to multiple daily responsibilities
  • Excellent organization, time and project management skills 
  • Strong research ability and experience
  • Possess ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
  • Great attention to detail
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills   
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work proactively in a fast paced, high volume and deadline-oriented environment with the ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
  • Experience working with high-level executives and maintaining the utmost of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the company
  • Ability to be available to the team during and outside of standard business hours

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with executive PowerPoint presentations 
  • MBA or other business experience
