Summary of Position

Lionsgate is seeking a Director, Library Acquisitions & Partnerships to support the management of key third-party participants and the ongoing administration of Lionsgate’s film and television library rights. This role will focus on relationship management, reporting, deal administration, and workflow coordination to ensure smooth operations and maximize value from our content partnerships. The Director will serve as a day-to-day liaison for external participants, analyze sales data to track portfolio performance, and collaborate across internal teams to manage payments, ingestion, and reporting. The role will also support ad hoc projects tied to Lionsgate’s content library rights and strategic opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison for key third-party participants, handling ongoing questions and providing support.
  • Prepare and present sales report presentations, including detailed tracking of portfolio performance by participant.
  • Analyze sales data sets from internal systems to identify trends and opportunities, forecast performance, and support decision-making.
  • Oversee ingestion of acquired titles into internal workflows, coordinating with operational and rights teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Rights Management, and Royalties to support deal administration and reporting.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, financials, and performance for participant portfolios.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects related to Lionsgate’s film and TV library rights, sales opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on participant activity and library performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Media, Finance, or related field (MBA or equivalent an asset).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in content acquisition, distribution, planning or related roles in the film/TV/media industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret and summarize sales data sets from content sales systems.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint (or equivalent tools) for reporting, data analysis, and presentations.
  • Familiarity with content licensing, rights management, or media finance processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple participants, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, comfortable serving as a liaison between external participants and internal teams.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail.

Compensation

$120,000 - $135,000
