Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Coordinator, Worldwide Publicity, Field & Events. 

Responsibilities

  • Regional/Field Campaigns & Special Events:
    • Support in the execution of press junkets, premieres, and regional publicity/promotions.
    • Support event logistics, including talent schedules, venue details, DCP confirmations, COIs, legal approvals, creative material trafficking, etc.  
    • Support team by working cross-functionally with internal Lionsgate marketing and production teams (including creative advertising, media, digital, production) and external partners (event vendors, talent reps, press & media) on the development and execution of various field activations as well as specialty stunts
    • Create and distribute press materials (media alerts, fact sheets, press releases) to field agencies on a regular basis as needed. 
    • Support team in drafting written outlines/directives for field agencies on regional campaigns with oversight of Director 
    • Begin documents for all elements to premieres, junkets, & regional campaigns
    • Lead promotional item creation 
    • Digitally create and print all premiere, festival, special screening, or misc event collateral including but not limited to badges, tickets, or party passes 
    • Generate (for review) all “overviews” and written recaps for any field or event related activities.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Support team in identifying new opportunities for press & media outreach and innovative event activations.
    • Track and analyze press coverage and event performance to inform future strategy.
  • Communication & Relationship Management
    • Oversee the selection and execution of talent gifting for Lionsgate’s priority talent relationships 
    • Serve as an additional point of contact for talent representatives, media, regional agencies, and event vendors 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to amplify marketing initiatives in the field and at events. 
    • Develop relationships with key industry contacts to maximize publicity & event opportunities.
    • Handle communications with Lionsgate executives and corresponding offices regarding press junkets and special events.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign 
  • Previously publicity job/internships required 
  • Extremely Organized
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and work well under short deadlines 
  • Good with budgeting
