Summary of Position
As the Coordinator, Global Sales & Distribution Strategy & Analysis, you will support distribution analytics and operations for Domestic Theatrical, from sales planning through release. This role is responsible for preparing reports, maintaining key operational processes, and generating competitive industry insights that support theatrical sales planning and distribution strategy across all Lionsgate and Lionsgate Premiere theatrical releases.
The team provides critical analysis and reporting that informs sales planning decisions, distribution strategies, box office forecasting, and external communications. Supporting theatrical releases from greenlight through release, the team manages box office reporting, analysis, projections, and market intelligence while partnering closely with cross functional stakeholders across the company.
The ideal candidate is an analytical and strategic thinker with strong attention to detail, exceptional problem solving skills, and a passion for theatrical moviegoing and the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities
- Support box office analysis through by-title gross and theater count reporting for Lionsgate and Lionsgate Premiere releases, while maintaining accuracy of internal databases.
- Manage booking and logistics for select screenings across the United States and submit all confirmed screening reservations to our content control team for servicing.
- Conduct market research and assist in the development of analytical tools that support theatrical sales planning and distribution strategy.
- Maintain sales administration processes, including the collection and distribution of competitive and Lionsgate trade screening reactions, Thursday preshow data, and weekly showtime reports.
- Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses that support strategic decision-making across Sales & Distribution and other business units.
- Support weekend box office reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis for Lionsgate and Lionsgate Premiere titles.
Qualifications and Skills
- Entry level position with an interest in analytics, theatrical box office, and film distribution preferred.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency required and knowledge of Microsoft 365 are expected.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to changing deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Passion for movies, media, entertainment, and the theatrical exhibition business is a plus.
Additional Requirements
This position requires five (5) days per week in office.
