Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking an Assistant in the Global Sales & Distribution division. This position will support two senior leader’s departments with administrative duties and play an integral role in driving executions of sales and programming strategic initiatives for the Transactional Digital and Digital & TV Licensing businesses. This position will report into the EVP of Global Transactional Sales & Distribution and EVP of Global Content Strategy & Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Handle general administrative duties including managing calendars, scheduling calls/meetings, booking travel arrangements and submitting expense reports
  • Coordinate agendas and materials for key weekly, monthly and quarterly internal and external meetings and communicate action items to key stakeholders
  • Support the New Release launch day and ad hoc Catalog platform QCs by ensuring that all Lionsgate titles are live on platform, merchandised in high-velocity placements and displayed with the correct pricing and marketing assets (e.g. key art, synopsis)
  • Generate New Release launch day and key campaign recaps by securing feedback from the sales, sales planning, marketing and content operations teams
  • Handle key sales team tracking documents across new release dates, competitive release dates, competitive title performance and launch profiles, paid media and global sales performance
  • Support the Sales Pitch materials process, namely via the coordination of monthly sales presentation based on financial benchmarks, internal prioritization and strategic directives
  • Communicate internal key stakeholder updates as directed to key stakeholders via weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
  • Execute ad hoc directives from team, department and divisional leads

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in the Transactional, Streaming/AVOD/SVOD, Home Entertainment or content distribution space
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business, media or communications
  • The successful candidate must be highly motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented and display strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate, energetic individual who displays an ability to go above-and-beyond without being asked, eliciting critical thinking with recommendations for process and strategy improvements
  • Confident and professional written and oral communication
  • Familiarity with all Distribution types, including EST, TVOD, SVOD/Pay, AVOD, Theatrical and Non-Theatrical
  • Knowledge of the film and TV industry and an enthusiast for film and TV content (both current and historical)
  • Must have elite proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) …SAP and Presentation Software a plus.
