Job Title: Assistant, Post Production and VFX

Summary of Position
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for an Assistant in its Feature Post Production and VFX departments. This position requires a talented individual who can juggle multiple administrative and technical responsibilities at the same time.
Responsibilities
- Support the heads of Post Production and VFX by scheduling calls, managing calendars, handling requests, and aiding in other departmental tasks
- Create and maintain project calendars, Airtable, Monday.com, and Box folders
- Create, track, and manage hard drive, LTO, and asset shipments from the start of production through project delivery
- Create and maintain editor lists
- Act as liaison to agencies
- Act as liaison to Post teams on all Lionsgate shows
- Handle billing requests
- Create and manage project folders on Flow Capture and Box
- Onboard editorial personnel for each show
- Manage dailies and cut distribution to studio
- Take notes in VFX reviews
- Build, organize, and maintain production databases
- Oversee production VFX and editorial wrap
- Archive editorial and VFX assets
Qualifications and Skills
- Organized, reliable, detail oriented, and tech savvy with an eagerness to learn
- Demonstrated interest in VFX
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take constructive criticism
- Strong work ethic, reliable, mature, professional, and positive attitude required
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with dailies streaming platforms, including Autodesk Flow Capture and PIX
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Knowledge of Aspera, FTP and SFTP protocols, Autodesk Production Tracking (Shotgrid), CineSync
- Experience in project management
- Familiarity with post workflows
- Familiarity with production reports, budgets and schedules
- Interest in creating positive changes in the industry
