Summary of Position
Lionsgate is seeking an experienced Assistant to support the President and COO of the Motion Picture Group whose oversight encompasses domestic and international Theatrical, Home Entertainment and Television distribution. The position will also support the EVP, Global Distribution of the Motion Picture Group. This position requires an ability to interact with staff at all levels and high-profile contacts in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, all while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical support to the President and COO of the Motion Picture Group and EVP, Global Distribution of the Motion Picture Group, including handling confidential assignments, coordinating day-to-day operations, and anticipating executive needs.
- Assist with inbound and outbound company communication and correspondence, maintaining a strong understanding of departmental operations and business objectives.
- Manage two complex and dynamic calendars, ensuring seamless scheduling across time zones and shifting priorities.
- Execute general administrative tasks such as answering phones, booking travel, managing team coordination, and preparing expense reports using Concur.
- Organize and facilitate both virtual and in-person meetings/calls, overseeing all logistics including booking rooms, organizing materials, A/V setup, catering, and attendee coordination.
- Track follow-up items, manage deadlines, maintain notes, and summarize action items on all matters requiring executive attention.
- Complete ad-hoc assignments and support cross-functional projects as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience supporting senior-level executives in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Outlook) and video conferencing; comfortable adopting new technology.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with enthusiasm for building relationships across departments and with external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and remain composed under pressure.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Passion for the business of entertainment, with a particular interest in Global Distribution.
